The Unlimited Actor method was created by healer and acting coach Nancy Mayans.
The Unlimited Actor is an inspiring new paradigm in actor training. Instead of focusing on a character's thoughts and actions, it focuses on the character's Energy which naturally created those thoughts and actions in the first place.
Based on my years of experience as an Energy healer, I've learned that all physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states create specific colors and patterns in a person's aura. As an actor, you can train first to sense these colors and patterns and then to shift them to exactly match any character's reality you want! The exercises are easy, fun and illuminating. The result is complete transformation - inspired, truthful, organic behavior, with an acting range beyond anything you've imagined.
The Unlimited Actor training will expand your own commitment to acting. It will ignite an energy in you that will magnify all the other acting techniques you have, and bring a greater depth and reality to the characters you play.

Your Magical Doorways: the Chakras. One special focus in The Unlimited Actor training is on the 7 magical chakras, the main subtle energy centers of the body. Through sound, color, laughter and dance, we will open these centers to access all parts of yourself. The chakras, as they develop, allow you to: Ground and Feel Secure; Exude Self-Confidence; Sharpen Your Focus; Access your Emotional Depth; Increase your Imagination; Create a Radiant Presence. You will move into your "creative zone".
Once you learn to open these doorways, we will play with varying degrees of openness in order to regulate your energy flow, to specifically match it to the life force of a particular character. We will also play with specific images, patterns and colors to create the exact energetics of the character you are portraying--not only the physical mannerisms, the emotional state and the character’s mental disposition, but also the unique essence of the character’s true nature.

Fátima López is a Mexican actress, poet, and bestselling author. For two years she was the host of Entrelíneas TV, a television show about writers and books for Canal 22. As an actress, she has performed in La impostora (soap opera) and Lo que callamos las mujeres (tv series), and several short films. Her last collaboration as a writer was for the best-seller Success from the heart.
She's the first latina to be certified by Nancy Mayans, as a Second Level teacher of The Unlimited Actor Method, based in work energy. She brought the method to Mexico and has helped many actors and creative people to bring their work to a new, outstanding level and unlock their unlimited potential.
A graduate in Film Production, Cum Laude, at Concordia University, Patricia Chica is a multiple award-winning Canadian director-producer with over 40 awards under her belt. She has studied psychology and anthropology at Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne, as well as various acting techniques with different mentors throughout the years. As reported in the documentary "Let it Out!" (2013) , Chica incorporates energy work within her creative process as a tool to empower her actors, unblock their emotional and psychological limitations, and help them elevate their performances. She uses energy work and meditation techniques to bring her actors (and herself) to a higher level of consciousness and awareness that will allow them to connect, in a more profound way, with their characters and themselves. Chica presently shares her time between Montréal and Los Angeles.
Nancy Mayans has been on the Faculty of the William Esper Studio in New York City since 1990. She has also taught in many other wonderful acting programs, including NYU, Columbia, Rutgers, Carnegie-Mellon, and the Yale School of Drama. She has been an acting and speech coach for television shows on MTV, HBO, and PBS and has had numerous clients in feature films, television and on Broadway. Backstage readers have voted her runner up for Favorite Acting Coach in New York City. She also won Favorite Vocal/Singing Coach four years in a row. She holds a B.A. in Drama from Stanford University (Phi Beta Kappa) and an MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama. Nancy maintains a private coaching practice and currently teaches The Unlimited Actor workshops in Los Angeles and New York City.
